These screen covers will stop dirt and debris from entering the rear a/c unit housing. Both intake vents need to be protected because there is no partition that separates them.These covers will protect your blower motor fan and evaporator. The covers snap into the front of the vent housing. When they become dirty. Pop them out. Clean them with soap and water and snap them back in.
